Did you make New Year’s resolutions for 2020? If you did, we hope you’re enjoying great success at keeping them. But, if they’ve fallen by the wayside, you don’t have to wait another year to start again.
Here are 5 ways to make a fresh start now:
Be realistic
Consider what is truly possible for you to achieve during this season of your life. If your goal is a bit too grand for now, set it aside until you have the time and space to work on it.
Make time to make them happen
Make time in your schedule to work on your resolutions. Even setting aside 10 minutes a day is enough to make working toward your goals part of your routine.
Start small to end big
We’ve all heard that Rome was not built in a day… Try to take one step every day toward reaching each resolution goal.
Seek accountability
Ask someone you trust to hold you accountable for your progress. Be sure to have them check in with you to see how you’re doing.
If at first you don’t succeed…
…try, try again. Countless success stories have been born out of multiple attempts and failures. In essence — keep trying.
