Planning for your 2020-21 open enrollment can help you choose the right health plan for you and your family.

This year’s OEBB open enrollment period runs from Aug. 15, 2020 to Sept. 15, 2020. To help you better prepare, we want to let you know about the 2020-21 benefit changes ahead of open enrollment.

There are a couple of new benefit changes in our 2020-21 medical and dental plans.

2020-2021 Medical plan changes

The following changes will be included with all Moda medical plans for both coordinated care and non-coordinated care benefit levels starting Oct. 1, 2020.

• Moda 360
  — We know the healthcare system can be complicated. So, we created Moda 360, an enhanced member support team that helps connect you with the many resources available to you. Each time you call customer service, a dedicated health navigator will answer your questions and be your guide to connect you with the best care, resources and programs that work best for you.

  Moda 360 health navigators will help you identify, coordinate and connect with the following health resources: 

  • Personalized support for chronic conditions
  • Coordination with your primary care provider (PCP)
  • Telemedicine expansion options (24/7 access to chat, text, phone and video conferencing in all 50 states)
  • Specialized support for behavioral health, including dedicated therapists and psychiatrists
  • Personalized approach to diabetes management

  The Moda 360 team can also help you select a PCP 360, make healthcare appointments and provide support for billing issues, prior authorizations, claims and appeals.

• Alternative care – Prior authorization from eviCore for acupuncture and spinal manipulation will no longer be required. Members will now have 12 combined visits per plan year for these services. Please check your 2020-21 plan brochure for details.

  2020-21 Dental changes

• Incentive level dental plans
  Due to COVID-19, many dental offices have been closed for months. For members on incentive level dental plans, members will not lose their incentive level if they are not able to see a dental provider during the 2019-2020 plan year. Members who have a dental service during the 2019-2020 plan year will still have their incentive level increase.
